I’m psychic as hell and you gotta deal with it.
Here’s Sceptile, my entry for the #Twitterdex collab, which, uh, I’m running myself. I’ve been looking for artists of all skill levels to help us draw all 723 Pokemon—that’s including the 2 we’re not supposed to know about and 2 that aren’t actual Pokemon—and after 8 days we’ve hit a whopping 584 entries and 204 finished pieces!
Interested? Check out this Google Doc for rules, details and a list of the remaining Pokemon. Please contact me over email or Twitter, though, not Tumblr!! You can find my contact information in the doc.
Given the huge nature of the project, I’ve put in a May 1st deadline. Good luck, and have fun if you join!
My entry for the Mario & Friends: When I Grow Up Twitter collab. I did Doctor.
11 page comics are one page too big for Tumblr imagesets so this is pretty awkwardly set up, whoops!
DON’T LOOK AT THIS ON MY ACTUAL BLOG IT LOOKS STUPID THERE AND I NEED TO REDESIGN IT. (Ok I made my Tumblr a bit better but it still doesn’t look great on there. I made an imgur folder for this comic here.)
After working on this since late July, I’m finally done compiling the Smash Bros. Brawl Hack Pack! If you’ve been interested in using Smash Bros. hacks but don’t know where to start or just want Brawl to be bigger, I think I’ve put together a pretty fun package of stuff. Rather than a full-on new experience like Project M, I basically wanted to put together something more like the DLC and balance patch Brawl never got. It works with homebrew or just temporary installation.
The download includes:
Balanced Brawl - Balanced Brawl is a rebalancing hack from 2010 that retools the character balance, removes several exploits…and tripping! I feel like it does a great job of maintaining Brawl’s feel while removing some of its nastier, less fun elements.
Stage Expansion Pack - Brawl’s stage list is expanded by 36! 9 custom-made stages by fans and 27 ports of classic Melee and 64 stages.
cBliss Costume Expander - Each and every character now has at least 4 new costumes or palette swaps! I tried to make things a little more vibrant and interesting than vanilla Brawl and included as many fun costumes as I could. Play as PS1 Snake, Biker Peach, Boshi, Jigglypuff in a top hat, Zelda with Sailor Moon colors, and more!
A whole lot of txt files - Extensive documentation on each new stage and skin, installation instructions and most importantly credits because while I did a lot of hard work on this, none of the really cool stuff is my doing. I just gathered stuff, got em working together, tidied things up, and put a bow on it, so to speak. (…which is a lot more work than you’d think)
Download this dumb thing here! (Dropbox might not hold out if this gets too many downloads again, bear with me)
(Note: Due to Project M’s frequent updates, making a hack pack including it instead of Balanced Brawl would be kind of self-defeating and potentially step on a lot of toes, so it’s unlikely at the moment.)
